Nigerian gospel minister Dunsin Oyekan has shared a deeply emotional story about how he handled the loss of his wife, revealing that he chose worship even in the middle of intense grief.
Speaking during a recent ministration, he recounted how he carried his guitar to the burial of his late wife, Adedoyin Oyekan, and sang at her graveside.
“I made sure I went with my guitar… I was crying, my voice was shaking, but I was still singing,” he said.
According to him, that moment was a turning point. Instead of allowing the pain consume him, he chose to surrender everything to God through worship.
He explained that the experience, though painful, led to a deeper spiritual journey and even inspired songs that are yet to be released.
Adedoyin passed away in May 2019, leaving behind two children. Years later, Oyekan says that season shaped his faith and strengthened his walk with God.
His story has touched many people online, with fans describing it as a powerful example of faith, strength, and resilience in the face of loss.
