A lady has sparked conversations on social media after sharing an experience involving her aunt and uncle’s polygamous marriage, highlighting the emotional challenges that can arise even in long-standing relationships.
According to the lady, her aunt is the first wife in the marriage and lives with her husband in Abuja, while the second wife resides in Lagos.
She explained that her uncle primarily works and lives in Abuja but frequently travels to Lagos to spend time with his second wife. However, a busy work schedule reportedly kept him from making the usual trips for an extended period.

Unable to see her husband for some time, the second wife reportedly decided to visit him in Abuja.
According to the account, the man personally picked her up from the airport and arranged accommodation for her in an apartment. After settling her in, he returned home briefly, packed some of his belongings, and left to spend time with her.
The arrangement, however, did not go down well with the first wife.

The lady revealed that her aunt became visibly upset after her husband moved out temporarily to stay with his second wife.

“My aunt was just pacing around the house and hissing. She didn’t speak to anybody for almost a week. She was ANGRY. Turns out jealousy doesn’t retire at 50,” she wrote.
