Sandra Okunzuwa has a message for men who want to date actresses. If you can’t handle romantic scenes, don’t even try.
The Nollywood star revealed that her past relationship ended after her ex-boyfriend saw a clip of her kissing a fellow actor in a movie. Someone sent it to him. He watched it. And that was it.
“He knew very well that I was an actress before we even started dating. He had watched several of my movies, so it was surprising that a simple kissing scene would make him call off the relationship.”
She said she initially thought his reaction was just insecurity. But now, she sees it differently. Acting is her job. On set, she follows the script. A kissing scene is not real life.
“Acting is my profession. When I am on set, I have to deliver according to the script. A kissing scene is just part of the job and not a reflection of my personal life.”
Her advice? If you are uncomfortable with the realities of the entertainment industry, do not date an actor or actress.
The internet is reacting. One person wrote: “She is right. If you know what she does for a living, don’t cry later.” Another said: “Some men cannot separate screen from reality. That is not her problem.” 😤
