Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked a major debate online after sharing his firm stance on how men should respond to infidelity in marriage.
In a post shared on his social media page, he advised men to end their marriages immediately if they discover their wives are unfaithful.
“Once you find out your wife is cheating on you, leave her immediately. Men, stop tolerating nonsense all in the name of marriage. Don’t negotiate anything with her. Don’t condone. Don’t discuss with her boyfriend. Let her go quickly. And move on.”
He argued that forgiving a cheating partner and continuing the marriage could send the wrong message about a man’s strength and boundaries.
“If you forgive her and continue, you have confirmed to her that you’re a weak man. Danger looms for you. That decision will come back later to haunt you. Women deal mercilessly with weak men.”
The internet is divided.
