A Nigerian woman has voiced grave concerns over the worsening security situation in Kwara State, calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene urgently. In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she described the fear and tension residents are experiencing, alleging that families are being attacked and communities left unsafe.

She said:

“Are we in Kwara State not part of Nigeria anymore? President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, please help us. They are killing us. Families are being kidnapped, homes invaded and wiped out.”

The woman added that residents now live in constant fear, as stepping outside has become increasingly dangerous. She also raised questions about how the attackers obtain weapons and operate freely, despite government oversight.

“We are scared to even step outside. They now move with weapons and petrol. Where are they getting all these from? Yet the President is campaigning for second term. If everyone is gone, who will vote?” she lamented.

Her post has sparked nationwide concern online, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy and urging the government to take immediate action to restore safety in the region.
