A lady has sparked conversation online after sharing her frustration over what she described as men’s inconsistent reactions when women are truthful about their age.
In a video shared by @mazi_chinonso1 on X, she questioned why many men insist on honesty from women but seem uncomfortable when the truth is revealed.

According to her, men often stress the importance of transparency in relationships, particularly regarding personal details like age.
Reaction When Women Reveal Their Age
She noted that once a woman admits she is in her mid or late thirties, some men’s behavior changes immediately. Conversations dwindle, enthusiasm fades, and interest appears to vanish.
Different Treatment for Younger Ages
The woman explained that when a woman claims to be in her twenties, men tend to maintain attention, showering her with gifts, surprises, and constant messaging. However, the moment they learn she is actually older than initially stated, the attention often stops abruptly.
Speaking in the video, she said:
“You want transparency, but a woman will tell you she is 35, 38, and the next day you stop chatting her. You say you want honesty, Abi? And when she says she’s 24, you keep chatting, giving gifts, surprises. But once you realize she’s 38, you just wipe everything. Why is it like that? You want someone to be transparent, but you’re not even ready for it…”
