The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, has shared a powerful personal story highlighting faith, patience, and long-term vision.

According to Adeboye, he once prayed to God for a house, but believed he received a divine response that something far greater—a city—was in store for him.
“Years ago when I asked God for a house, He said don’t ask me for a house, I’ve decided to build you a city,” he recounted.

“When I told my people, they laughed… well, they’re not laughing anymore now,” he said.

He described the area as a well-structured environment with stable electricity, constant water supply, and a high level of security, allowing residents to move freely even at night.
