Fast-rising Nigerian singer Qing Madi has sparked serious concern among fans after alleging that her former record label is actively trying to sabotage her music career.
The drama started when her latest single “Pepper Me” suddenly disappeared from Spotify — just as the track was beginning to gain traction.
Taking to Instagram (in posts that were later deleted), the 19-year-old didn’t hold back. She accused her ex-label of targeting her success and trying to frustrate her growth in the industry.
In a bold claim, Qing Madi referenced past controversies involving Cynthia Morgan, alleging that the same people previously linked to her struggles are now coming after her too.
She also revealed that the label had once filed a $1 million lawsuit against her — a case she says they lost — and suggested that her continued rise in music might be the reason behind the alleged attacks.
According to her, she usually avoids online drama to stay focused on her craft, but this situation pushed her to speak up — especially after her song was taken down at a critical moment.
She made it clear she won’t be silenced:
“I’m 19… let me be. I just want to do music,” she said, while insisting she won’t allow her story to end like others before her.
Despite the tension, Qing Madi reassured fans that “Pepper Me” will be restored to streaming platforms soon.
