The Labour Party has finally said what many people have been thinking. Peter Obi’s departure left a hole. A big one. 💔
The party’s spokesman, Ken Asogwa, called Obi a “giant” — a colossus means someone very big, very powerful, very hard to replace. He said Obi’s presence boosted the party’s popularity and strength. Now that he is gone, the party is feeling it.
“We lost a giant,” Asogwa said. He admitted the party cannot pretend Obi’s exit had no effect.
Obi left Labour Party on December 31, 2025. He went to ADC. Then he left ADC for NDC. His reasons? Internal crises. Disagreements. Unresolved issues. 🚪
Now Labour Party is trying to rebuild. But the spokesman is honest. The vacuum is real.
The internet is reacting. One person wrote: “Labour Party without Peter Obi is like party without music.” Another said: “They used Obi to gain popularity, now they are crying.” 💀
Someone added: “Giant or not, Obi is moving. Labour should move too.”
