A Nigerian woman has sparked serious reactions online after dragging school owners over what she described as “embarrassing” teacher salaries.

In a viral video, she revealed that some schools offer as low as ₦15,000–₦25,000 — even to qualified applicants like ND and HND holders.

Clearly frustrated, she questioned how such offers make sense in today’s economy:

“How do you expect me to post ₦15k or ₦25k salary jobs?”

She didn’t stop there 👇
The lady pointed out the huge gap between what schools earn and what teachers are paid, breaking it down with a simple example:

A teacher handling about 20–40 students, each paying around ₦20,000, still ends up earning less than the value of just a few students’ fees.

According to her, this imbalance is pushing qualified people out of the profession — and it could backfire badly.

“In the next few years, there won’t be teachers again.”

Her comments have now triggered a wider conversation, with many Nigerians calling for urgent reforms in the education sector and better welfare for teachers.
