A Nigerian lady has sparked serious reactions online after sharing the harsh reality she experienced while working in a private school.
According to her, she was earning just ₦9,000 — and not even consistently.
But her own case wasn’t the worst.
She spoke about a senior teacher, “Uncle Femi,” whose situation shocked many 👀
A graduate of Mathematics, he reportedly handled:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Further Mathematics
- And later… even English
From JSS1 all the way to SS3 😳
And after all that workload?
He was paid just ₦25,000.
To make things worse, she revealed he trekked nearly two hours to school every day because he couldn’t afford transport.
One day he came late… and instead of understanding, he was issued a query.
“He couldn’t even defend himself,” she said.
The story has now reignited conversations about how teachers — especially in private schools — are treated.
Low pay. Too much work. Little respect.
