Politics just got more intense 👀
Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has openly called on the government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to stay out of the affairs of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking in Abuja after officially aligning with the party, Obi made it clear — they want space to build.
“Please don’t come here… we want peace, we want to build the party,” he said.
He stressed that the goal is bigger than politics — focusing on creating a system where ordinary Nigerians can succeed without connections.
“We want to build a country where a child of nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody.”
Obi also appealed to party members to avoid internal conflicts and court cases, urging unity and focus.
“We don’t want litigation… we want to build, not fight.”
His statement has since sparked conversations, with many Nigerians reacting to the bold message and what it could mean for the political space ahead.
With new alignments forming, one question remains…
Is this the start of a major political shift? 👀
