A Lagos-based TikToker, Kesari Okalastirs, has sparked widespread backlash after a video surfaced online showing him making controversial statements about Nigeria’s 2027 elections.
In the video, Kesari was seen issuing threats directed at voters, warning that individuals who refuse to support the ruling party could face physical consequences.
He also made claims suggesting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu could remain in office beyond the constitutionally allowed two-term limit.
“If you don’t vote for APC I will beat you up… Tinubu will be the first President to go for 3 terms in Nigeria,” he said in a mix of Yoruba and English.
