Rabiu Kwankwaso has finally spoken. And his words are shaking the political table. 💀
The former Kano governor said he is ready to be Peter Obi’s running mate in 2027. Yes. Running mate. Not presidential candidate. Number two. Vice president. 💺
He made this known during an interview on Arise Television. According to him, the two leaders have already agreed on one big thing — tackling insecurity head-on.
“We have agreed to tackle insecurity. If the party decides I should be running mate to any candidate from the south, I will be happy to work with him.” 🗣️
Kwankwaso didn’t stop there. He praised the possible Obi-Kwankwaso ticket. He said he cannot remember any better combination in Nigerian politics. Strong words. Strong confidence. 💪
The internet is now buzzing. Obi supporters are excited. Kwankwaso fans are divided. Political analysts are already writing essays.
One person wrote: “Obi-Kwankwaso ticket will be fire. North and South united.” 🔥
Another said: “Kwankwaso has accepted his place. He knows Obi is the leader.”
But someone else disagreed: “Kwankwaso as running mate? He was a governor. He deserves the top seat or nothing.”
A third added: “Let them first win their party ticket. Then we talk.”
The big question now: Will NDC present Obi as presidential candidate? And will Kwankwaso truly accept the vice position?
2027 is far. But the battle has already started. 🍿
