French defender Ibrahima Konate is reportedly closing in on a move to Real Madrid after entering advanced talks over a free transfer following the expiration of his Liverpool contract.
The centre-back is understood to be nearing an agreement on personal terms with the Spanish giants, paving the way for a switch to the Santiago Bernabéu once his current deal officially comes to an end later this month.
