Hollywood actor Anthony Guidera has reportedly passed away, leaving a void in the film industry.
According to reports from TMZ, Guidera suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while at his Southern California home with his wife. The incident reportedly occurred in their living room, after which he was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support for three weeks.
His wife revealed that doctors eventually removed him from life support, allowing him to return home and pass away naturally. The exact cause of the cardiac arrest remains unknown.
Anthony Guidera (1964–2026) was an American actor best known for his roles in The Godfather Part III, Species, The Rock, and Armageddon.
Before launching his acting career, Guidera worked as a model in Paris. He made his film debut in 1990 and went on to appear in more than 30 film and television productions. His breakthrough came in 1995 when he starred as Robbie in the sci-fi thriller Species, a role that propelled him into the Hollywood spotlight.
In 1996, he gained mainstream recognition after winning the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss alongside co-star Natasha Henstridge for their performance in Species. That same year, he appeared as the Lead F-18 Pilot in the blockbuster action film The Rock.
Guidera continued to feature in major Hollywood productions throughout the late 1990s, including The Postman (1997) and Armageddon (1998), cementing his place as a familiar face on the big screen.
