According to Angela, her Godmother told her that it is not advisable to keep clothes worn to a funeral or burial ceremony and that such items should be destroyed afterward.
Choosing to follow the advice, the actress said she decided to burn the outfit she wore to Alex Ekubo’s burial and felt compelled to share the experience with her followers.
“This is the outfit I wore to Alex’s burial. My Godmother said it is not good to have the cloth you wore to a burial around you; you burn them,” she wrote.
She also shared a video showing the outfit being consumed by flames as she carried out the act.
