A man has shared an experience from a dinner date that left a strong impression on him after a disagreement broke out over who should pay the restaurant bill.
According to him, he had invited a woman out for dinner and fully intended to cover the cost of the outing. However, things took an unexpected turn after they finished their meal.
The bill reportedly came to about ₦85,000. While he briefly excused himself to use the restroom, the woman quietly approached a waitress and made arrangements to settle the bill herself.
When he returned and later learned what had happened, he was surprised to discover her intention to pay. What followed was a brief but firm disagreement between both parties, as each insisted on taking responsibility for the bill.
The situation created an unexpected moment of tension at the end of what was meant to be a simple dinner date.
