An elderly man has moved many online after insisting on personally bidding his daughter-in-law farewell on the day of her burial, describing her as kind, respectful, and deeply caring.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the grieving man explained that although she had been married to his youngest son for just four years, her impact on him and the entire family was profound.
Speaking emotionally, he revealed that he had even given her a special name, “Chimochima,” in recognition of her character.
“I renamed her Chimochima. She married my youngest son for just four years, and now they are telling me not to come and speak about her. She was my youngest daughter, a very good daughter who took care of me. I have other daughters, but she stood out,” he said.
He went on to emphasize that her kindness, respect, and genuine love made her more than just a daughter-in-law—she had truly become his own child.
The heartfelt tribute has since touched many social media users, with several people highlighting how rare and special such relationships between in-laws can be.
One user wrote, “Ah, this one strong! She truly made her father-in-law proud.”
Another added, “Imagine treating your in-laws like your real parents. God bless her soul.”
The video continues to circulate widely, leaving many reflecting on the value of love, respect, and family bonds.
