Social media activist VeryDarkMan has sparked fresh debate after calling out Peter Obi over his decision during the 2023 election.
According to him, many supporters were ready to take to the streets when they believed the election process was compromised.
But instead of continuing protests, Obi chose to follow the legal route — a move that didn’t sit well with some of his supporters.
👉 “We were ready to protest… then suddenly he said we should go to court. I’ve never been that disappointed,” he said.
He added that, in his opinion, the decision affected the momentum of the movement, as many people felt discouraged at the time.
VeryDarkMan also made it clear that his stance doesn’t mean he supports the current government, distancing himself from that narrative.
