An X user has stirred conversations online after sharing a heartbreaking experience involving a close male friend.
The user, identified as @jusynerxy on X, revealed that she recently visited the friend after facing financial pressure from her house rent.
Lady shares disappointing discovery
According to her, she had just paid part of her rent toward the end of last month, leaving an outstanding balance of ₦150,000. Hoping for help, she reached out to her male friend and asked if he could assist.
However, the man reportedly told her that he was broke and unable to help.
During her visit to his place, she said he left his phones with her briefly. Since she knew his PIN, curiosity led her to check his financial apps, including OPay and PiggyVest.
What she discovered left her heartbroken.
Sharing the details online, she wrote:
“I decided to check his PiggyVest and OPay apps since I know his PIN, and I saw that he had ₦200k in his OPay and about ₦2.3 million in PiggyVest.”
Feeling betrayed, she turned to social media users for advice on what to do next.
