Social media personality Cubana Chief Priest has stirred political conversations online after opening up about his relationship with President Bola Tinubu and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Speaking during an interview with popular TikToker Peller, Cubana Chief Priest claimed that President Tinubu and his camp still have doubts about trusting him.
“Tinubu still doesn’t fully trust me because I’m an Igbo man and I once worked for Peter Obi. So they feel I could betray him too.”
Then he dropped the reason he walked away from Obi’s movement.
“I left Peter Obi because he kept losing. Peter Obi is not ready and I don’t see him winning the next election because there are people who are more ready than him.”
The internet has exploded with reactions.
One person wrote: “You are not a strategist, you are a walking loyalty glitch. Even the new team dey scan your barcode like ‘this one get previous owner.'”
Another said: “Peter Obi never needed your CV anyway. The streets will decide come 2027.”
