A woman has gone viral after sharing how she planned to leave her marriage, only to return after facing the harsh reality of living alone.
In a video posted on X, she explained that she initially wanted a fresh start with her daughter and contacted an agent to get a new apartment.
But what she heard? Shocked her.
A two-bedroom apartment was priced around ₦800k, later reduced to ₦600k. Even a self-contained apartment wasn’t “cheap” — going for about ₦400k.
And that was just the beginning.
After checking prices of basic things like a bed and fan, reality set in fast — everything was way more expensive than she imagined.
Overwhelmed, she made a decision many didn’t expect…
She went back home.
“I came back after pricing,” she said.
Her experience has now sparked deep conversations online — not just about relationships, but about the economic pressure shaping personal decisions.
She also left a message for other women:
Don’t rush decisions without a solid plan… because the outside world right now is not smiling.
