Nigerian singer Mr Real has expressed concern over the growing insecurity in different parts of the country and the increasing number of people relocating to Lagos State.
According to him, many Nigerians now see Lagos as the safest place to live. People are leaving their various states due to fear of attacks and insecurity.
“Lagos is becoming too crowded. Everybody is leaving their various states and moving to Lagos State believing Lagos is the safest place.”
He warned that if nothing is done, the problem may eventually spread to Lagos as well.
“Bandits and terrorists are now chasing people, and soon they may follow them to Lagos too. Let our President and other politicians do something about this insecurity.”
The internet is reacting. One person wrote: “He is right. People are running to Lagos, but Lagos is not as safe as people think.”
Another said: “The government needs to act now. Insecurity is spreading like fire.”
Someone else added: “Lagos is already crowded. If bandits come, it will be chaos.”
A different voice said: “Mr Real has a point. We are all just hoping the problem does not reach us. That is not a solution.”
