During Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Espanyol, the Brazilian forward was locked in a dirty battle with defender Omar El Hilali. Early on, El Hilali was shown a red card for a foul on Vinicius. But VAR stepped in and overturned it. The defender stayed on the pitch. That is when things got personal.
The two went at each other for the rest of the game. Pushing. Talking. Fighting for every ball. But after the final whistle, Vinicius delivered the real knockout. 🗣️💀
Cameras caught him looking straight at El Hilali and saying: “Later you’ll ask for my shirt outside and I’m not going to give it to you. You’re going to Segunda.”
For those who do not know, Segunda is the Spanish second division. Vinicius was not just talking trash he was reminding the defender that his team is heading down while Real Madrid stays on top.
He also accused El Hilali of constantly fouling him and just acting out for attention.
