A man has gone viral on social media after sharing an emotional video of himself in tears following the heartbreaking end of his relationship.
The emotional clip, which has since sparked widespread reactions online, was accompanied by screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation in which his girlfriend informed him of her decision to leave him for another man who was ready to marry her.
According to the messages, the woman explained that although she still loved him, family pressure and concerns about her age played a major role in her decision.
She revealed that her mother preferred the other suitor, identified as Kelvin, because he was financially stable and prepared to settle down immediately, while her boyfriend was still working towards achieving financial stability.
In the message, she expressed regret over the situation and acknowledged that her decision would cause him pain.
She wrote:
“Bea I don’t know how to explain this to u, I av been trying to tell u the other day U visited me but I was afraid… u know I lov u jux that my mom say she love kelvin more then u she say u are stil hustling and kelvin 1s ready for marriage am sorry i know how u feel when u see this & but know I still love u but I av to move on am 27 already.”
Clearly devastated by the news, the man immediately pleaded with her to reconsider.
In his response, he wrote:
“Be pis don’t do this to me can I speak to ur mom pls.”
He reportedly attempted to call her shortly after receiving the message, but she did not answer.
The video capturing his emotional reaction has since attracted significant attention online, with social media users divided over the situation. While some sympathized with the heartbroken man and criticized the influence of financial considerations in relationships, others argued that the woman had valid reasons for prioritizing marriage and long-term security.
