A young Nigerian lady has cried out on social media after her car disappeared while she was inside a church service.
She parked her car, went to worship, and returned to an empty space.
“Never thought I’d be going back home without my car today. Parked it for church service and came out to meet an empty space,” she wrote on X.
The car is a Toyota Corolla with plate number SMK759HY. It was last seen at Acme Crescent, Ogba, Lagos.
She posted a picture of the vehicle and noted that a scratch on the car is no longer there, so people should not rely on that to identify it.
The lady is begging anyone with useful information to come forward. She has already reported the incident to the authorities, but she needs the public’s help to track down her car.
The internet is reacting. One person wrote: “Thieves are bold these days. Even church premises are not safe.” Another said: “She should report to the police immediately.”
Someone else added: “This is painful. You go to church to pray and come out to meet this.”
