A lady walked into a popular food joint in Lekki. She ordered plenty wraps and plenty drinks. Big appetite. Then came the embarrassing part.

Her transfer didn’t go through.

Instead of begging the attendant immediately, she turned to the next person in line — a man in corporate wear.

“Excuse me, abeg check if your bank is working. I don’t know what’s happening.”

The guy looked at her, responded calmly, and walked away.

His reply? “Mine is fine.”

He paid for his own food, collected it, and left.

The lady was left standing there, now forced to beg the attendant.

A bystander who watched everything wrote: “I wear my glasses bone face.”

The internet has been laughing ever since.

One person said: “She may be genuine, but bad people have ruined society. Now everyone with a failed transfer looks like a scammer.”

Another wrote: “She really thought he would pay for her food. The audacity.”

Someone else added: “Why she no turn to another woman? Why na man she dey turn to?”

A different voice said: “The guy didn’t even hesitate. He just said ‘mine is fine’ and vanished.”

The question now is simple: Was she really stranded or just looking for a free meal?
