Arise TV anchor Rufai Oseni has dropped a political bombshell, claiming that powerful forces are already working to keep Peter Obi off the presidential ballot in 2027. 😮🇳🇬
According to Oseni, the only person who can truly give President Bola Tinubu a strong challenge is Peter Obi. And because of that, the first strategy against him is simple make sure he doesn’t even appear on the ballot.
But what about the criticism that Obi keeps jumping from one party to another? Oseni addressed that too. He argued that the same issues that happened in the PDP in 2022 are exactly why Obi left the ADC and recently joined the NDC. He said Atiku’s camp had already hijacked most of the structure in the ADC, leaving Obi with no real ground to stand on.
Oseni also claimed that at a meeting held in Oyo State, there were plans to zone the ticket to the South, but Atiku’s camp insisted otherwise. He further alleged that Obi’s explanation about leaving due to a court case is not the full truth saying Obi was simply pushed into a corner.
He even threw in a word about Nyesom Wike, saying Wike has justification for his actions based on what is happening inside the PDP. 👀
