Controversial singer Portable has sparked reactions online after openly mocking socialite Cubana Chief Priest while declaring himself the better choice for political campaigns linked to President Bola Tinubu and the APC.
In a viral video, Portable claimed that Cubana Chief Priest was used politically and then sidelined.
“They cannot cheat me the way they cheated Cubana Chief Priest. They cheated him and shifted him. Maybe the money he paid them was not enough.”
He also criticized Cubana Chief Priest for allegedly failing to carry out meaningful projects in his community despite his wealth and influence.
“You went to your village to share garri but you didn’t sink borehole for your people.”
Portable insisted he would be more useful to the APC if given the opportunity. “I am a Yoruba man. They should use me for this. APC should give me the money instead of wasting it on you. I am ready and available.”
The internet is reacting. One person wrote: “Portable is always looking for attention.” Another said: “He has a point. What has Cubana Chief Priest really done for his people?” 😤
Someone else added: “Both of them are just chasing clout. Nothing more.”
A different voice said: “APC should not give money to any of them. They are both distractions.”
Portable previously declared support for Tinubu during the 2023 presidential campaign and has repeatedly aligned himself with prominent political figures online.
