A Canadian woman has sparked conversations online after sharing her thoughts about Nigerian men and relationships. In a viral video, she described Nigerian men as loving, hardworking, and naturally inclined to provide for their partners.
According to her, Nigerian men who truly love their partners take pride in paying bills and ensuring their women are financially comfortable. She also stated that many Nigerian men dislike the idea of splitting responsibilities equally. Providing for their partners is something they value deeply.
“There’s no love that surpass the love that you will receive from a Nigerian man, if he actually loves you,” she said.
She also praised Nigerians for being hardworking and playful, while pushing back against stereotypes that portray all Nigerian men as unfaithful. She argued that some people only encounter Nigerian men who are not yet ready for commitment.
“Nigerian men are providers. If you’re their woman, their goal is to pay all bills. They don’t do 50/50. It literally bothers them if you are paying bills. It hits their pride.”
She also spoke about their work ethic. “Nigerians are very hardworking. So if you are with a Nigerian, you are most likely not gonna be broke. And in this economy? Come on guys!”
On the stereotype about cheating, she said, “I know a lot of people see Nigerians and say they are all cheaters. No, they’re not all cheaters. You’re just getting close to one when they’re not ready to settle.”
The internet is reacting. One person wrote: “She said the truth. Nigerian men are providers.” Another said: “Not all Nigerian men are like this. Some are 50/50 by force.” 😂
Someone else added: “The playful part is true. We know how to enjoy life.” A different voice said: “She met the right one. That is why she is praising us.”
What do you think is she right about Nigerian men or just lucky?
“I’m Going To Say This For Those Who Don’t Know, Nigerian Men Are The Best. Nigerian Men Are Providers And Protectors. They Don’t Do 50-50; Their Goal Is To Pay All The Bills, Care For You. Being With a Nigerian Man When He Truly Loves You Is Unmatched. There’s No Love That… pic.twitter.com/1NmLLSZRms
