Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench and played a key role as Celtic pulled off a dramatic late comeback to beat Hearts and secure their fifth straight Scottish Premiership title.
Hearts only needed a draw to win their first league crown since 1960. They scored first through Lawrence Shankland. It looked like history was coming.
But Celtic refused to break. Arne Engels scored a penalty deep into first-half stoppage time to level things up.
The game stayed tense until the 87th minute. Daizen Maeda put Celtic ahead after a VAR review overturned an offside call. Hearts pushed everyone forward, but Celtic hit them on the break. Callum Osmand added a third in stoppage time to seal the win.
Iheanacho came on and brought energy and speed to the attack. He even hit the post. He didn’t score, but his presence helped keep Hearts under pressure as they collapsed in the final minutes.
Celtic now have 56 league titles, moving ahead of Rangers. For Hearts, it was a painful end to a great season.
