Former Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo has reportedly passed away after collapsing during a training session in Kaduna.
According to reports, the incident happened early in the morning while he was carrying out routine training. He was suspected to have suffered a heart attack and sadly didn’t make it to the hospital 🕊️
Eneramo wasn’t just any player — he had a solid career both in Nigeria and abroad 🌍⚽
He made a name for himself at Espérance Sportive de Tunis, where he became one of the club’s most reliable goal scorers. During his time there, he won multiple league titles, lifted domestic cups, and even finished as top scorer more than once.
He also shined on the continental stage, emerging as CAF Champions League top scorer (2009/2010) — a moment many fans still remember 👏
His career also took him to Europe, with stints at clubs like Beşiktaş J.K. and Sivasspor, among others.
On the international stage, he represented Nigeria and scored memorable goals, including one against Ireland and another in a crucial World Cup qualifier against Tunisia 🇳🇬
Known for his strength, energy, and eye for goal, Eneramo left his mark both at club level and with the national team.
His sudden passing has left fans, teammates, and the football community in shock.
