A Nigerian man has shared a shocking discovery he made on his sister’s fiancé’s phone just three months before their wedding.
According to his post on X, the wedding held in 2019 in Port Harcourt. 400 guests were in attendance. And he was the maid of honor.
He smiled all through the wedding. But not because he was happy. Because of what he had discovered months earlier.
He found messages on the fiancé’s phone showing transfers of ₦150,000 monthly for two years. He traced the account. It belonged to a woman in Warri. She had a son who was 4 years old in 2019.
He confronted the fiancé privately. The man did not deny it. He just looked at him and said: “Some things are better left alone. Your sister is happy. Don’t be the reason she isn’t.”
He said nothing.
The internet is reacting. One person asked: “What if your sister finds out you knew and kept quiet?”
Another said: “Was that why he was smiling? Not even frowning. But smiling.”
Someone else asked: “Is it that your sister’s fiancé was using a joint account with the woman in Warri, or the woman uses his phone number for receiving alerts? That part is not clear.”
