A Nigerian man has gone viral after sharing his frustrations about his marriage, saying he feels overwhelmed just months into the union.
According to him, balancing work, caring for a newborn baby, and handling most of the house chores has become too much for him.
He said he often ends up doing the cleaning himself, and was shocked to return home one day to a very messy house.
“I am very sad. My wife doesn’t clean the house, so I usually do it… This marriage isn’t even up to a year but I’m already stressed out,” he said.
He also reflected on a past relationship, saying he now feels he made the wrong choice by letting go of his ex because he focused more on education and “serious relationship standards.”
“I broke up with my girlfriend because I wanted a serious relationship and thought education mattered more. Now I regret it. She was amazing,” he added.
