Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has made a direct and unusual appeal to fans ahead of their crucial UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

Bayern head into the return leg trailing 5–4 after a dramatic nine-goal thriller in Paris, and Kompany believes the atmosphere at the Allianz Arena could play a major role in turning things around.

In his message, he urged supporters to ensure maximum energy inside the stadium on match day.

“If someone has bought a ticket and isn’t feeling well on the day of the match, please stay home and give your ticket to the fittest person they can find,” he said.
“We need the fittest people to deliver the full force of the Allianz Arena.”

The Bayern coach stressed that his team is confident of scoring again at home after netting four goals in the first leg.

“We scored four goals away in Paris. We can score goals at home too. The belief is 100 percent there,” he added.

Despite the narrow deficit, Kompany insisted the task is simple — win the match and secure a place in the final.

Bayern now return to Munich with everything to play for, as they look to overturn PSG’s slim advantage in what is expected to be another intense European night.
