Nigerian teenage winger Zadok Yohanna is expected to remain part of Brighton & Hove Albion’s senior squad next season, despite recent reports suggesting he could be sent out on loan.
Sources close to the 18-year-old have dismissed speculation linking him with a temporary move to Spain, insisting that Brighton’s plans have always been centered on integrating him into the first team.
Yohanna recently completed a high-profile move from Swedish club AIK in a deal reportedly worth up to €28 million, making him one of the most expensive African teenage transfers in football history.
The highly rated youngster attracted interest from several European heavyweights, including Chelsea, Manchester City, Newcastle United, and RB Leipzig, before Brighton ultimately secured his signature.
