Pep Guardiola will leave Manchester City after Sunday’s match against Aston Villa. Ten years. Seventeen trophies. Six Premier League titles. One Champions League.
He is walking away.
“I don’t have the energy anymore,” he said. “Ten years is a lot of time. The club needs new energy. I would not be able to fight every three days like before.”
He told his players he was leaving. He said his farewell speech was a disaster because he was too emotional.

Former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is the frontrunner to take over. He worked under Guardiola before.
