Rufai Oseni has expressed concern over the sudden increase in petrol prices across Nigeria, describing the situation as frustrating for everyday citizens.

In a viral video, the Arise TV anchor said he visited a filling station in the morning only to discover that fuel prices had changed within a short period.

“This morning I went to buy fuel, and it moved from ₦1,225 to about ₦1,335 in just one day,” he said.

He questioned what measures the government has put in place to reduce the impact of subsidy removal on Nigerians, especially as living costs continue to rise.

According to him, while some relief has been noticed in aviation fuel, petrol remains a major burden on citizens.

The comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians debating both the price hike and his criticism of the economic situation.

The fuel increase continues to add to ongoing conversations about inflation and the cost of living in the country.
